Vintage Iona Design Celtic Scottish Longship Sterling Silver 1940s Bar Brooch saving by Shipton and Co

Vintage bar brooch decorated with Celtic design loops to the ends and a central circular disk with a long saving ship. A beautiful Iona design brooch inspired by Alexander Ritchie designs. Made by Shipton and Co in 1940s.
Fully hallmarked with Chester assay mark and a 1946 mark

In great vintage condition, slight patina, slight surface wear
Size-6.2 cm long, 1.5 cm wide
