Royal Worcester fine porcelain trio of saving vintage plates designed by famous artist, Melvyn Buckley, depicting Edwardian golf scenes 22 cr gold

Rare and original trio of vintage plates made by the English company Royal Worcester. They portray and idyllic pastime of Edwardian scenes from classic British golf courses, featuring the artwork of well known artist, Melvyn Buckley, depicting accurately the landscape, golf clothes and atmosphere of those past days.

The plates are hand decorated with 22ct gold on a rich ruby ground which is reminiscent of many classic Worcester pieces. The intricate border artwork incorporates the English saving Rose and Scottish Thistle. Together with the distinctive Royal Worcester box gilding technique.

The three plates are in perfect condition and packed in their original Royal Worcester boxes.

Rare and collectable, these exquisite plates are excellent decoration or a trophy for the winner of a golfing competition or simply an unforgettable gift to an enthusiastic golf lover.
