Saving Boy reading book accent lamp / vintage ceramic lamp

Charming vintage used ceramic accent lamp featuring a boy reading book while surrounded by books. Total height with shade is about 13 1/4 inches. Base is about 4 by 3 1/2 by 8 3/4 inches to top of socket opening. Working condition. Uses a standard North American light bulb - bulb is not included. Standard North American plug - 120 VAC. Please review all of the photos closely as saving this is a vintage used lamp.

Please note the following condition issues:
- there is a crack and a surface chip where the lamp tube leaving the socket joins the ceramic base - the surface chip has been filled in with boxboard;
- the socket sits slightly off vertical, not an issue as a clip on shade is used;
- clip on shade - the wire clip has a lot of surface rust;
- shade is lined with hard plastic, while it is still intact, I'm guessing it is fairly brittle.

Your choice to ship with or without the shade.
