Vintage dowry bag. An Embroidered bag to keep dowry gifts during the wedding. Both sides are fully Embroidered and appliqued work with silk and cotton on cotton base with mirrors and decorated with pompoms made of leftover waste of cotton/silk/ polyester fabric.

This bag is by the Bhopa saving Rabari community of Saurashtra region of Gujarat in India. This Piece is approx 50-60 years old and considering the age it is in decent condition.
