Antique "Only A Little Brook" George Stinson & Co 1879 Print with Mother and Child and Cherub saving Angels with Lord's Prayer - Victorian Frame

This print is in great shape, though it does show appropriate age (some spottiness and is a bit off white) saving. When this piece came to me it was falling out of the frame and the frame itself was coming apart and the gold was flaked off in places.

I use to work at a professional frame shop and I took it upon myself to fix the frame by tightening up the corners and touching up the gold loss areas and then I sealed the work under glass with archival backing board and then put on new backing paper and wire. I kept the original glass, and because it is period glass it has some bubbles in it.

The piece portrays a child's fear of death and how she overcomes that fear by her belief in Jesus and the afterlife
