What's better than a box full of junk that also looks like a treasure!? When I received the figurine that serves as the focal point, I knew instantly she was born to be a mermaid! She was missing the lower half of her legs which I replaced with a hand sculpted mermaid tale and her head which was replaced with a crown. From there, I just dug through my totes and found odds and ends perfect for making fish, a background and to tell a story of a misfit mermaid trying to find her place in the world when she found a sunken shipwreck packed will treasures. She decided it was hers for the keeping and made her self Sea Queen. This whimsical art piece is just perfect for that weird space in your home that's been missing something, you just weren't sure what!

This diorama box is made using an upcycled cigar box, a piece of decorative netting, gears, jewelry pieces, a mini safe, bead letters and other misc odds and ends I've accumulated. It measures approx 9" long x 6" tall x 2" deep.

Shipping costs are an estimate based off an item's approximate size and weight as well as the buyer's location. Any overages of $2 or more will be refunded.

All vintage items are sold as is, I do not accept returns, offer exchanges or issue refunds. I do my best to describe any flaws that may exist, and make sure all info needed to make an informed purchase is in the description. Please review all photos carefully and read the full description. Different screen settings can alter colors.

I try to ship all items as soon as possible. I make two trips daily to the post office. Cancellations are only accepted before the item is shipped. Once I have printed the shipping label it is considered shipped.

All vintage items are sold as is. All vintage items are previously owned and as such will come with minor flaws and/or light wear. I do my best to describe any obvious flaws in all of my listings but please review photos carefully and message me if you have a question.

I pack all of my items with great care to ensure a safe delivery. Once I drop your order off at the post office it is out of my hands. I have zero control over how quickly your package gets to you or in what condition. In the unlikely event an item arrives damaged please be sure to take photos of the shipping container and broken item, you saving will need these to file a damaged package claim with USPS. I am willing to help anyway I can, but filing the claim is up to the buyer. Items shipped first class do not come with insurance, this will need to be purchased separately for an additional charge. My standard method of shipping is with usps. Only items of $150 or more come with signed delivery for free. If you would like signed delivery you will need to send me a message as it is an additional charge.

Some of my items may have sharp edges or points. Please be aware of this and use caution when handling. An Altered State of Mind is not responsible for accidents or injuries, whether intentional or accidental.
