Product code: Antique American saving Primitive Tin Push-Up Candlestick Holder
Description: An antique primitive tin push-up candlestick holder. The holder has a large round base with raised rounded edges. The edge itself is partially folded on itself to round it. The candle holder has a central column with a flat lever on its side that is used to raise and lower a mechanism within the column to push a candle up or down as necessary saving. The column has an upwards slightly rounded lip to ensure wax does not run down the column. The mechanism works as it should. Beautiful green paint remains and the patina is amazing.
5-1/2” diameter x 4” tall
Date: Uncertain, but most likely sometime in the 1800.
