Here i took a gorgeous rough raw Amethyst specimen- in excess of saving 10 carats and created a very unique solitaire setting for it. I used a modern method of creating the shank rails, & bridge, but old world style prongs.
One you would see a washer woman wearing during the Olde Norse times.
The band is first semi polished and It is entirely hand tooled to the finish . I never use a tumbler for my creations. I then carved small night sky symbols into it like little whispy clouds, little crescent moons and stars. The carving are rudimnetary on purpose. You will see that in it's rustic beauty, a pure old school style of jewelry making, and i wouldn't have it any other way.
The ring can be upsized about a size or two. So please make a note at chekout & allow a few days for me to get it sized to what you need. sorry no down sizing.
