This gorgeous evening bag is crafted with iridescent blue glass beads with beaded strap from K & G Charlet. This main body of the bag is spacious for an evening bag and measures 5 1/2" high, 8 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" deep. The strap is in excellent condition with no beads missing, or evidence of strain. The drop saving length of the strap is 6". (length when extended up from top of purse to top of strap) The bag has a snap clasp closure, which is fully functional.
The clean label reads "Charlet, Paris, New York". The interior is deep blue satin and free of wear.
There is a section on the bottom corner where beads are missing. About the size of a dime with a row extending out. (See last photo for reference) The rolled rim of the top also has one row of beads missing 1 1/4" inch. See second to last photo. This can either be repaired or kept as a show piece in a collection.
