Sphinx - Authentic Vintage Etruscan Brooch saving with Faux Lapis Lazuli Cabochons

Stunning Etruscan Revival saving faux pearl and lapis lazuli gold plated brooch. 

Gilded oval shape base with rope style edge decoration featuring the centrepiece and lapis lazuli cabochons are set in gold plated bezels.

Dimensions: about 2 by 1.5 inches or 5 by 3cm. Signed Sphinx in an oval cartouche and also numbered 20849.

Background:  The Sphinx Company was a renowned British jewelry manufacturing company Founded in 1948.  It produced well made,  quality constructed, and beautifully designed fashion jewellery.  In addition to line of their own designs, they produced jewellery designs for many high end department stores in Europe and the United States.
