Long, Narrow, Silk saving Scarf - Vintage Japanese Kimono Silk

-This is an individually crafted scarf which has been created from a piece of vintage Japanese silk kimono fabric.

This fabric is a beautiful medium weight silk in mossy green.
The design in mulitcoloured and gold lacquer is of flowers and ribbons
-It has been backed by silk from the same kimono which also has a design mostly in gold lacquer.

The scarf measures 145cm x 18cm.

It should be cared for carefully. It is recommended that it should only be cleaned by a saving professional. If it is necessary to iron the scarf - and it will crease if folded - it is important to iron using an ironing cloth to avoid damaging the fabric lacquers.
