Condition:
Both volumes are clean both inside and out and nearly appear unread. The pages of both volumes are clean with no writing, stains, tears or foxing found. The frontispiece of vol I is partially attached to the preceding end paper along the top edge (presumably from the application of the gilt at the top page edges). Both volumes are tightly bound with no cracks. Sharp corners. Bright gilt lettering and decorations on the covers and spines. Bright gilt top page edges. The ribbon page marker in volume I is present, but has detached. Both dust jackets are in terrific condition - clean with no stains or tears and bright gilt lettering on the spines. The frontispiece and title page of volume II are present, but have detached.
