Set of 2 Vintage EAPG saving Bulldog with Top Hat Toothpick Holders / Matchstick Holders

This set of two vintage pressed glass "Bulldog with Top Hat" toothpick holders is both collectible and whimsical. Each measures approximately 3 3/4 inches high. The amber colored piece has a bit of roughness around the rim which I think is from manufacturing. You can feel it but can't see it. The black piece has three small chips in the rim of the top hat, two on the outside and one on the inside. They are small and not very noticeable but you can feel them and see them if you look closely. I believe both were made by the Belmont Glass Company, one of the first glass factories in Ohio. Both appear to be carnival glass. Both have the raised dotted edge pattern along the bottom. These are heavy pieces for toothpick / matchstick holders and will be a wonderful addition to any collection--and a great gift for dog lovers! saving
