Glass insulator (Hemingray 45) mahogany saving holder

This is a solid mahogany holder, hand made on a lathe, for a glass insulator for anyone who want to show off his/her collectible glass insulator,and help them stick out among other decorative items.
The glass insulator Hemingray 45 is included as part of the item, but the holder would be valid for any glass insulator whose inner circle (that used to receive the post) may fit in the space between both circles whose diameters are shown in the pictures. External diameter is 2 1/4 inches, internal diameter 1 7/2 inches.
This holder has not been designed as a lamp or to hold a candle, there is a base where a candle would fit in but there is no space for heat dissipation. The base has been gilded to maximize light reflection. and has some dots where the piece was bound to the lathe where the metal sheet would not attach. It is not a flaw because it is not to be seen, it should stay under the insulator.
Both holder and glass insulator saving are sold as a 2-pieces bundle. No other item shown in the pictures is included. If you are interested only in the holder, please, let me know. However, I will not sell only the glass insulator. Both pieces weigh 3 pounds and 4 ounces.
