It has worn cover with cracks in spine. The pages are yellowing with spotting. Brown frame stain on outer pages from a cover. Inscription on endpage. Allan Ramsay (1686 – 1758) a saving Scottish poet, playwright, publisher, librarian, and impresario of early Enlightenment Edinburgh. Published in 1725, the play has some happy scenes and is a pleasant delineation of rustic manners in the countryside of the Scottish Lowlands in the 18th century. I have tons of rare books!
