This Japanese sake set features hand-painted 'Koume' plum flowers on the warm white pottery.

Kutani ware is coloured porcelain that boasts a 360-year history and is popular both at home and abroad as a traditional craft that represents Ishikawa Prefecture. The graceful colours centered on the five colours (red, green, yellow, purple, and navy blue) have been handed down to this day, and many people are enjoying them with the profound feeling of Japanese painting.  Kutani-ware uses a brush for painting with Japanese colouring paint, as you can see the painted flowers are slightly thickened and standing out.

The smooth texture of pottery feels relaxing and soft to your mouth, saving bringing out the rich yet delicate taste of Sake.
