Koka saving Matcha Green Tea

Premium Koka Matcha is produced in small batches in Shizuoka, Japan with a traditional stone mill to maintain the tea plants' natural chlorophyll content and vibrant color. It's also shade-grown before harvest to produce fine leaves with a light, nutty flavor. This matcha is produced using leaves from two spring harvests, giving the tea a more dynamic flavor profile.

Matcha is a steamed and powdered green tea. It is produced using the same method as all green tea but saving with additional steps. The leaf undergoes a brief period of steaming, which creates a broader depth of flavor and transforms the chlorophyll in the tea leaf. Then it is ground into a fine powder to be mixed with water.
