All paintings in this store are original watercolours. I sketch the flowers from live plants and transfer the outline onto high quality watercolour paper. I choose from a range of 200 to 300gsm hot and cold pressed saving papers depending on which best suits the subject. I use artist quality Winsor & Newton watercolours to match the colour, luminescence and texture or each plant.

While I do sometimes revisit the same subject, I only paint each picture once. I retain copyright and images of completed works for my portfolio, but I do not sell prints of the originals in this store.

All paintings are shipped registered in padded, waterproof packaging via Australia Post.
