Stained saving Glass black with bright color band

For this one I drew an oval and some parallel lines, then I went to the scraps to select bright remainders. To get the colors to pop, I used black for the oval. One side is iridescent, as the saving extra pics show, though I prefer the flat black side. (I used bright sunlight behind me on that third photo to a somewhat unnatural degree.)

I really enjoyed making this and think I'll do some more like it. Lately it seems the stained glass pieces whose designs arrive spontaneously are the ones I like the best.

It's 8 3/8” by 6 7/8” and is made with the copper foil technique, has a rounded lead border and a glossy black patina. Can be hung using small-linked chain or monofilament fishing line. Not to be hung from suction cup hooks.
