HOMESPUN Collection butterkeeper dish. Available in our signature finishes: brown clay dipped in white glaze, speckled brown clay dipped in white glaze with specks, white clay dipped in white glaze, brown clay dipped in charcoal glaze, brown clay with aqua glaze.

This is a handmade creation and there will be imperfections as opposed to machine made items. I have taken extra care and attention to make sure every vessel is functional and a beautiful addition to your home or office. Each piece is inspected thoroughly for sharp edges, perfect ease of use and functionality. Some imperfections are the result of the natural elements in the clay from the earth.

All will hold approximately 1 stick of butter.

Clay and glaze is a compilation of natural elements from the earth and there will be a small degree of color variations from batch to batch of pottery. I do my best to maintain consistent results with my basic pieces.

Due to the nature of handmade pottery, each piece may vary in size slightly (no more than 1/4"). All liquid measurements are approximate.
All pieces are individually made & glazed.
All pottery is dishwasher & microwave safe.

To use:
The dish has two parts: a base that holds water, and a lid (or bell) to hold the butter. To use, pack your butter into the lid, and put cold water in the bottom saving. Place the lid into the base – the water will create an airtight seal (make sure you have enough water in the base to reach the cup part of the lid). Because air cannot reach the butter, the butter remains fresh and refrigeration is not needed so that the butter can be spread easily.
This will keep butter fresh for around a month provided it is kept out of direct sunlight (so that it doesn't get too warm) and the water is changed regularly (every 2-3 days). Holds: 4 - 5 oz. butter.

I provide USPS tracking number information for all sales, unless you are local and I hand deliver. I am not responsible for lost or stolen items due to negligence of USPS/alternative carrier or other unfortunate circumstances. After it leaves my studio, I have no control over the delivery system, but I take extra care in choosing the most reliable carrier for safe delivery of your pottery.

Please message me within 7 days of receipt before you ship your item so that I can review with you my return policy, which is: If item arrives defective or not as described, I will email you a paid USPS return shipping label. This is a handmade product that will have many variations and not exact in consistency as would be a machine or mold produced item. I do my very best to produce a product that is much alike as humanly possible. If the return is of no fault of my own (seller), then return shipping cost and method will be the responsibility of the buyer. Once the item arrives safely back to my studio, in original condition as when it left, I will then issue a refund that is equal to your purchase minus a restock fee of that equal to the original shipping cost that I incurred when I shipped it to you.
