Vintage tribal white Thai handwoven embroidered piece of Tubeskirt.
Age is over 40 years and very good condition.
This is made from silkworms and cotton threads and wrapped around the waist,without tailoring or pleating to fit the waist.
Skirts are typically made up saving of three parts,the lower part ,the skirt body and the upper part but these one have two parts.There are many designs for the lower parts,characteristics of the art of each ethnic group.The White Thai textile have become very well known.Many kinds of decorative patterns like this skirt is animal patterns and colors are of special importance also.
