saving This versatile small scarf can be tied as a neckerchief, around your wrist, in your hair or on a handbag.

The burnout silk velvet is handmade and painted in my studio. the background was dyed a rich purple color. the velvet scrolling pattern was then handprinted with blending shades of purple such as plum and violet and grape.

These scarves have been pre-washed as part of the dying process. Washing again in a gentle cycle followed by a hot dryer will add to its softness.
