What a wonderful find for any lover of classic literature and poetry.
This 1888 edition of Our Authors, by Frank M'Alpine is a great compilation of brief biographies of scores of literary geniuses along with illustrated portraits.

The cover is a delightful belle epoque design. The sides of the book have a gold leafing. The inside front cover is a bit detached and there is some age spotting, but the pages are strong and in overall great condition.

It measures 7 by 9 by 1.5 inches.
