A lovely pair of Art Nouveau, Art Deco silk appliques. The appliques are hand embroidered with silk and depict butterflies. These date circa 1920-1930s and were premium for Turmac Tobacco. The appliques are known as "zijdjes" which is Dutch. The appliques are in very good saving overall condition. The largest measures 6 3/8" x 3". They would be lovely on clothing, linens or pillows. Both pieces are offered for one price.
