Two wonderful saving attic found antique potato mashers in their original patina.

Prince Edward Island is known worldwide for the quality of potatoes that it produces. In the first half of the last century every Island kitchen would have a wooden potato masher.
These two mashers were both hand saving turned with one being made from a single piece of wood and the other one from 2 pieces of wood. both were well used with the one made from one piece of wood dating from the early 20th century.
Great kitchen display pieces and potentially still usable!!
Both mashers are about 11.5 inches in height and 2.5 inches in diameter at the base.
